Most common ornamental plant in Mysore and southern cities. One
should always provide bright sunlight for this straggling shrub.
Otherwise the flowering is reduced.

I always thought that it is Russelia juncea. May be I was wrong, or the name has been changed?

No Promila ji, your identification is right, only that it is now considered as synonym of R. equisetiformis.
