Seen in a wet channel from leaking water from a small water hole.

On 14/11/09 in Shamirpet in Rangareddi district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Going by flowers, it appears more closer to Ammannia auriculata Willd.

The specimen displayed is not Rotala but Nesaea lanceolata (Heyne ex Clarke) Koehne

Please look for more than one flower or flower buds in a node as a condensed cyme.
