I think this plant is Solanum torvum. Please comment on ID.

Dear Dungrial ji,
You are correct. It is Solanum torvum . In Kerala, people call it
Chunda. They take the berries, dry it prepare small balls of it and
fry it and have it with food.
Incidentally, they say it is from the same family as tomatoes. On
somebody's advice, I had tried to graft a tomato bud onto the solanmu
torvum plant and successfully got quite a few tomatoes on it.
