Dear all,

I am resurfacing this post for identification, kindly help in identification. The habitat is a high-altitude grassland.

Leaf: 8 x 3 cm
Inflorescence head: 1.5 cm
The plant height is about 1.5 feet.

Date 23 Oct 2012
Place: Mukruthi NP, Nilgiris, TN
Alt.: 2350 m asl

Though close, does not seem to have distribution in Tamilnadu as per details at Senecio, many other Senecio species are listed here from Tamilnadu. It would be worth trying these also.

I checked all species listed in Tamilnadu as per details at Senecio.
The Closest I can go is S. multiceps as per GBIF specimen- one.
But I am uncertain.
