Ampelocissus divaricata mostly has 3-foliate leaves as per keys at Ampelocissus and as per POWO.

It appears to be close to Ampelocissus sikkimensis (Laws.) Planch. as per images and details herein. Pl. see GBIF specimens- one and two and three.

Tendrils bifurcate, 7–8 cm.

Tendrils 2- or 3-furcate, peduncle 3–13 cm

Tendrils 2- or 3- furcate, 9–15 cm.

Flora of China for Ampelocissus sikkimensis (M. A. Lawson) Planchon says "Compound dichasium leaf-opposed, base with a bifurcate tendril";

Tendril here is trifurcate which is with only 2 sp.
