Please ID wild plant, kind regards, Sam.
Location: at Munnar Idukki Kerala INDIA

Altitude: 4000fsl

Flower date: 26APR2023, 10.20am

Habitat: wild moisture misty sloppy meadows

Plant habit: rosette shrub, erect unbranched, stemless, annual

Height: 10cm

Leaves: alternate clustered rosette elliptic acute leathery hairy, size upto: 12×6cm

Flower: axillary spike inflorescence, clustered, non fragrant

Fruit: 

Seed:

Hi, Sam ji,
Is it listed in Flora of your area or Flora of Kerala?
"A comment in the book said that P. erosa is difficult to tell apart from P. major but erosa has hairy leaves especially when they are young. I looked at young leaves and found them to be hairy. In fact there are scattered leaves even on the mature leaves."

Yes, it is Plantago asiatica subsp. erosa dear Garg ji, thank you very much for ID my plant with clarification and ID links, and this was reported in Kerala Plants from my location.  P. major doesn't reported from Kerala.
