Found in fruiting condition
Habitat: semi evergreen forest bank of water stream
Place: Tripura

But these photos from Eflora India group which are already identified as Ardisia macrocarpa doesn't match

Pl. see GBIF specimens (one and two).
But I think the leaf margins are wavy and the calyx of the fruit is not matching.

On checking all other species listed at Ardisia (from NE India),
I feel closest match appears to be Ardisia griffithii as per GBIF specimens (one and two)
