Would this be Syzygium heyneanum ?

Habitat : wild, growing on dried-up rivulet-bed, moist soil ... Type : mixed deciduous forest
Plant Habit : large shrub ... Height : about 2 m ... Length : - not climber -
Leaves Type : simple with margin entire, oppositely arranged, glabrous ... Shape : narrow-elliptic, tapering at both ends, short-petioled ... Size : about 7 - 10 cm x 2.5 - 3.5 cm
Inflorescence Type : branched cymes ... Size : about 5 - 10 cm
Flowers Size : about 10 mm ... Colour : white ... Calyx : like a cup ... Bracts : no
Fruits Type : yet to see ... Shape : yet to see ... Size : yet to see ... Seeds : do not know

Fragrance : did not smell ...  Pollinator : do not know ...  Uses : do not know

Dear Dinesh Ji,
I think you are absolutely correct this plant is indeed  Syzygium heyneanum (Syn: Eugenia heyneana) from the family Myrtaceae.

The common name in Malayalam is vallamanchi ... please validate and help me with it in the native script.

  Beleive it is now called Syzygium alternans [Pan-Jhambal, Bhedas] - ref: Dr.Almeida's 'Flora of Maharashtra', Vol 2. Sending you some of my photographs taken at my farm.
