Hi All,

I am a new member. Just joined the group.

Saw a tree yesterday in Chhota Kashmir in Aare Milk Colony, Mumbai.
The tree has leaves like Gulmohur but much thinner. Seems like a
conifer or pine. Found no info on any such tree in 'Tree of Delhi' or
'Tree of Mumbai'.

The seed pods are small 4-6 inches long, wavy and hang in a cluster.

Found no flowers on the tree.

Waiting eagerly

Abhay

Thanks all. It is Parkia biglandulosa. And it is mentioned in Tree of
Mumbai by Marselin Almeida.

Actually I doubted it to be the badminton ball tree but I got confused
by not finding any globular fruit on the tree and no picture of the
seed pods in the book.

Its a pleasure to be part of the this group.

Thanks to Dinesh Valke.
