Hi, Shakir ji,
Pl. always mention at least date and place in Kashmir.
Geum aleppicum does not have any distribution in India as per POWO
It may be Geum roylei, as per images and details herein. Pl. check.
Also post images showing leaves etc.
You can send many images one by one in reply in the same post.

Saroj ji, could you send link to this publication

If this species has really distribution in J &K, this should help
According to GO Botany G. aleppicum has 200-250 achenes, G. urbanum less than 100 (that should identify this as G. aleppicum), basal part of style spreading pubescent in former, glabrous in latter, petals 6-10 mm long in former, 4-7 in latter. Additionally eFlora of N. America fruiting torus on 2-3 mm long stipe and softly hairy in former, sessile and bristly in latter. Hope it helps.

Looks very close to Geum aleppicum.  It is distributed in the whole of temperate world. The distribution shown in the map on POWO almost touches Kashmir.
