I think this is Strobilanthes cruciata (Bremek.) Terao.
I don't have a specimen at hand to compare but the inflorescence looks right.
Is Sawmliana making herbarium specimens? If so, it would be goods to see images of specimens of some of these rarer species.

Can you supply better resolution images? The corolla looks pubescent which is wrong for Strobilanthes cruciata but I can't see detail very clearly.

Nothing for the moment. I am still puzzled by this plant. There is something of Strobilanthes cruciata but the corolla is clearly pubescent, which is wrong. If I get a good idea I will contact you. No chance of more photographs or photographs of a specimen showing the whole inflorescence?
