Yes, it appears so, as per Keys in Flora of China.
POWO and Catalogue of Life, mention only this variety other than the type variety.

But I find a lot of variation in leaves in our posts at Isodon lophanthoides, not only in leaf apex but also in other aspects of the leaves.
So in view, I feel we should not segregate our posts based on these keys and keep them as these are now.

"Although some authors recognize "Plectranthus gerardianus" as a separate species and others recognize it as one of the varieties of Isodon lophanthoides (var. gerardianus (Benth.) Hara), our specimens (with the available material) all seem to be the same taxon."

In that case how do we segregate var. and subsp. of so many different plant sp.
listed with accepted names ?
By the way this has been validated by expert whose validation we have accepted in many sp.earlier.
