Dodonaea viscosa . Virali in Tamil . There is one virali malai
(hillock) in Tamil Nadu. The plant is of high medicinal value.
Mostly found in many scrub jungles and waste lands in Karnataka /
Tamil Nadu.

Thanks for sharing. I have seen branches of this shrub tightly woven
together to make strong and beautiful fences in some tribal hamlets in
Kerala.

Dodonaea viscosa is found in Pachmarhi and Balaghat (M.P.) also. Meanwhile it has been planted as hedge plant in policelines Seoni (M.P.)
