Potentilla argyrophylla Wall ex Lehm. var. argyrophylla

Robust erect perennial herb up to 80 cm tall; leaves trifoliate, leaflets 4-7 cm long, acutely toothed, dirty white beneath; flowers yellow, in panicled cymes, long pedicelled up to 4 cm across; calyx silky with acuminate lobes; petals yellow, obcordate; achenes many.
