Place: Kass Plateau, Approx. 20 kms north of Satara, Maharashtra.

Date: 29th to 31st Aug'08

Equipment: Canon 40 D Camera + Tamron 90 mm macro lens

Species: Clerodendrum serratum
Local Name (Marathi) : Bharang , Bharangi

Notes: The leaves and flowers of this species are edible and is a popular vegetable in monsoon ....... You will encounter many adivasis selling this all along the thane district....
