I think Hibiscus rosa sinensis may be some kind of garden cultivar

Yes Nalini ji, it is called jaswandi in Marathi. Pune is beautiful during monsoon. This flower was photographed at an Hanuman temple garden. It is said that Lord Hanuman was born at this place. I forgot the exact name of the place. Near to this temple is the famous Balaji temple managed by Venkys chicken.
