Yesterday i spent almost a hour with this plant  at CBD Belapur hills, Navi Mumbai. Do have a look at enclosed snaps.

Common name: Indian turnsole, Hatishura

For those who are interested, the Arctiid moth depicted in photos is Utetheisa sps. This species inhabit open grassy areas....

Dear all,

Heliotropium indicum L is common is wastelands and in paddy fields
after harvest.

Flowers: Throughout the year.

Kannada - ಚೆಳುಬಾಲದಗಿಡ, ಚೆಳುಮಣಿಗಿಡ.

संस्कृत - Hastishundi, shrihastini.

Medicinal properties :

Plant used for kidney diseases, eye diseases and has laxative
property.
