This is a tree which looks strong and  has grown straight, seen on a street in Bangalore.
Please help with the id.

Most probably Pterygota alata (syn.: Sterculia alata) ... commonly known as: buddha's coconut • Assamese: tula • Bengali: buddha narikel • Kannada: kolugida • Malayalam: porila • Marathi: करवटी karvati • Tamil: கொடைத்தோண்டி kodaittondi

I am with Dinesh ji this plant is indeed  Pterygota alata (Synonyms: Sterculia alata) from the family Sterculiaceae.
