These 1 ft or less herbs are growing beside a pond, in a shady place under bamboo thickets.

Sir,

At  the time of taking pictures I thought it was Wedelia trilobata. I didn't take care. But as i was browsing my records, this morning, it occurred to me that it might be another. I will try to capture more features within a day or two.

I have taken more pictures today, from the same place and of the same population. It is interesting to note that this plant has both, axillary and terminal head on long peduncle.

I was amused at these two very similar plants being under different genera now:
 
Finally searched a lot & decided to replace Wedelia chinensis page with Sphagneticola calendulacea as per Flora of Flora of China 
 
I hope this is OK.
