Please help me to identify this.
I'm from Sri Lanka.
This was found at Badulla, Sri Lanka, a tropical vegetation.
In Sri Lanka similar species are found as follows.
Cyanthillium cinerium
Jeffreycia zeylanica
Uniyala wightiana
But this species is different from them.

I find it a bit similar to Cyanthillium albicans ( Deccan Vernonia )
but it doesnt occur here in Sri Lanka.

Hope you would pay your kind attention.

Thank you,

Kumudu Amerasinghe

P. herbacea has very short stem or almost stemless which differs from the specimen in the image. Also the base of the leaf stalk appears pulvinus. Could there be other similar species than the two suggested?
Thank you.
