This tree was seen by me in 2007 at the garden and again a couple of days ago.
Name was given as Anjan by the Horticulturist Shri More.
Leaves resembled that of Bauhinia, but were much smaller.
Is this Hardwickia binata, also known as Anjan?

Thanks Neil ji.
The name suggests Bauhinia racemosa only, but leaves were smaller in size.
I am familiar with B. racemosa.
Will take it as Bauhinia racemosa since you know better.
Regards,
Aarti
