Sita Nadi Nature Camp
Sita Nadi Nature Camp (part of Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary) ... Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka
Date: 27 DEC 2014 ... Altitude: about 80 m asl

Dear friends, ID please.
Convolvulaceae vine, fruiting. The fruit about 1 cm across.
Not able to place - wildly guessing it to be some species of Argyreia. Not able to recollect if seen earlier.
Hoping to get ID validated to genus level.
¿ Argyreia ? ... (family: Convolvulaceae)

I am not familiar with the plant shown and I am unable to confirm nor rule out an Argyreia.

The sepals resemble in some ways those of :

Argyreia adpressa
Argyreia populifolia
Argyreia roxburghii

although they do not match those I mentioned.

I think flowers may be required to assist in the ID.

regards,

Ron

Thanks Garg ji for resurfacing the query.
Many thanks to Ron too for his thoughts; indeed more aspects of the plant are needed here.
Hopefully, I would make it to this place in coming seasons; will do my best to get to the flowers.
Regards,
Dinesh

Argyreia hookeri C. B. Clarke may be one possibility.
But I think it's only a possibility with these images.
