There is also a message displayed on the main page of the site:
"All images on this site are © copyrighted and may not be used without
permission."
In addition to this, all plant images on the site are watermarked to
discourage casual lifting of images from the site and using them
somewhere else.
This, I think, summarizes the philosophy of Flowers of India website.
We have been refusing requests asking permission for commercial use of
the pictures on the site.

Tabish ji and Garg ji,
This is a wonderful idea. Thanks to both of u for the initiative. Databases on Flowers of India & Efloraindia have helped me a lot.
I would like to contribute in a little way by giving my blanket permission to use photos from my flickr photostream ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/shubhada_nikharge/sets/ ) and all my pictures that have appeared on efloraofindia.
