Pictures taken at Garden Reach & Central Park, Kolkata. Thess trees (Champas/Frangipanis/Plumerias) are also called as Temple Tree for their association with the temples in India. It flowers many times in a year. It's a small, almost evergreen shrub or tree with knobby & warty trunk exuding milky sap. Fruit is a pair of pods joined at the center, but rarely formed. There is generally a lot of confusion regarding the number of species of Plumerias & their varieties.
