Habitat: Wild, Dry deciduous to moist deciduous forests
Description: Scandent shrub, up to 5 m high, leaf simple, alternate, oblong-lanceolate, inflorescence in axillary racemose panicle, flowers white, fruit drupaceous, ovoid.
Uses: The fresh young leaves are cooked as leafy vegetable and also chewed during mouth ulcer and the fruit is edible when ripe. Apart from this there are many other medicinal uses of this plant reported from this region.
