Flora of Uttara Kannada | ID request - 26Nov10AR04

Large tree 110 feet approx, fruits - sandy brown, 15cms approx, fruits found in the top portions of the crown

(Sorry for the poor picture quality - because of the distance, shade & low light)

Date/Time-13th Oct 2010.
Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Vibhuti falls, Yana
Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-Wild

Height/Length-approx - 110-130 feet
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- Shape - 20cms, elliptic
Inflorescence Type/ Size-
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-No flowers observed
Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-
fruits - sandy brown, 15cms approx, fruits found in the top portions of the crown

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- Not observed

Could be a species of Terminalia. Unless the leaves and fruits/
flowers are seen cannot be confirmed.
