Is it Maesa indica?PLANT FOR ID 171 SMP NOV 2009

I observed this small tree at two three places in Mahabaleshwar Nov 09.
After scanning in the trees and shrubs section of FFOS it appears to be Maesa indica ( अटकी ) ( page 301.)
Family Myrsinaceae.
Please validate .

I think there should not be any doubt about the ID confirmed by many as Maesa indica.
