Would like to know this wild flower id.
The nectar of this flower attracts the Hymnoptera - Tiphidae (a pollinator ).
 
Narimale camp, Bramha giri WLS
Coorg, Dec 2008.
MSL - 1418 meters,

If this is a shrub about 1 mt high with a terminal corymb 5-10 cm,
then it could be Vernonia divergens of Asteraceae. Rgds
