Galium hirtiflorum   Requien ex DC 
The leaves 4-6 in number, lanceolate to oblanceolate, glabrous on upper surface, fruit covered with hooked hairs.

Flora of China says for Galium hoffmeisteri (Klotzsch) Ehrendorfer & Schön­beck-Temesy ex R. R. Mill "Middle stem leaves and leaflike stipules in whorls of up to 6 (in weak plants rarely only up to 4),........."

Thanks Garg ji, that solves problem, then all our specimens suggested as hirtiflorum should be G. hoffmeisteri , whatever is its current nomenclature status.
