This plant was published as a new species in 2019 (Lepidagathis shrirangii (Acanthaceae) a new species from Konkan region of Maharashtra, India – PRATIK DILIP NATEKAR, DEVIDAS BHAUSAHEB BORUDE, SHARAD SURESH KAMBALE & ARUN, NIVRUTTI CHANDORE, June 2019 Phytotaxa 405(4):215-220) as per details herein.
Again highlighting the fact that so many species are posted here much before these are published. However, only a few come to our knowledge.
