Nilgiris: shola tree for identification 061212MK01

Dear all,

Please help me to identify this Shola tree. The height ass about 2 metres. The flower was about 0.5 x 0.3 cm; leaves were about 5 cm long.

Date: 21 Oct 2012

Place:  Mukruthi NP, Nilgiris, TN

Alt.: 2350 m asl

Habitat: Montane forest; near a stream
