Climber photographed from Plantae Paradise, Datiyar Village, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, 29-5-2015, differentiated from P. coccinea (leaves mostly unlobed, coarsely double serrate, bracts larger, flowers 7-12 cm across) in usually 3-lobed leaves and larger (12-18 cm across) flowers
