Can you post the description of Eranthemum strictum Colebr. ex Roxb. as I am not finding it on the net?
I think it may be Eranthemum strictum Colebr. ex Roxb. as inflorescence looks longer and bracts look more linear lanceolate (as in POWO specimen) rather than ovate lanceolate bacts and shorter inflorescence as in your book and as in images at Eranthemum purpurascens and GBIF specimen one and two.

Also inflorescence appears to be less dense compared to those at Eranthemum purpurascens
