Dear all,

What's the name of this Tree?
It is photographed near Rahulnagr, Kothrud, Pune on 9th May 2009.
It's big Tree around 10-12 m high.

   It is Cordia dichotoma [C.myxa] locally called Bhokar.

Suresh ji is right. This is Lasora. The fruit has extremely sticky
pulp and is used as a pickle in northern India.

Thanks for the information.
Cordia dichotoma is known as 'Sebeston Plum' in English and 'Bhusel' 'भूसेल' in Sanskrit संस्‍कृत.
