I think its not a Porcupine flower, Barleria. Leaf shape differs

Date/Time- Sep 2010

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Katnal, Mysore district

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Wild, water canal edges

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Herb

Height/Length- 120 cms, 

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- length-taper, 7cms, 1.5cms breadth

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- ~Orange, ~ 4.5cms

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- no

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-
