This plant was seen in many areas of Lahaul Spiti. At most places flowering was over and fruits were observed . Near Kaza some flowering plants were spotted. I think it is Cousinia thomsonii Satish Phadke

Hallo Satish ji,
many of ur plants from Spiti valley remind me of the beautiful flowers i
fotographed in Iceland many years ago. I didn't have a digital camera then,
most of the fotos are diapositives. I don't know, if i have enough time and
patience to dig those dias out and have another look. Will see. But i have very
good memories of my trips to Iceland.
Regards

Hi Nalini ji Altitude has such a great impact on the plants. That may be the reason. Regards Satish
