Pudji ji,
Thanks for a possible id.
Could this be the Insulin Plant, a Costus species?
Regards,
Aarti

Both are right.  the plant  looks like Cheilocostus speciosus, formerly known as Costus speciosus.

Common name:Crepe paper ginger.

This belongs to Costus. However species is not confirmed. This may be costus igneus if it is known as INSULIN PLANT. Costus specious is indigenous and not called as INSULIN PLANT.

Thanks Mahadeswara ji, Kannan ji.
The leaves looked more like 'Insulin Plant' on Google search.
Name given as Costus igneus as Kannan ji has suggested.
Costus speciosus leaves seem a little different to me.
Regards,
Aarti

A reply:
"It appears as Tapinochilus sp. a member of Costaceae. All taxa under this family has same type of vegetative structure. Only on flowering we can confirm. The repeated branching has some resemblance with Tapinochilus.
