If it was Dinesh ji who propelled Efloraofindia in the thousand messages club, it was Singh ji who made us think of two thousand messages every month.

And now it is Tanay ji, who ensured that Efloraofindia enters a new phase of three thousand plus messages every month.

They are the persons who anchored Efloraofindia to take it to new heights along with great contribution from other members & moderators.

My salute to them & their passion as Efloraofindia crosses 40,000 messages today.

Its a good feeling, Garg ji.
Number of messages certainly is a marker that shows the buzz and activity ... the best that is happening (and will continue) is the knowledge of species in our flora.
Wishing our group gets more and more members from diverse fields -- more species and knowledge about them will come to light.

I would like to quote Vijayashankar ji, Rashida ji, VijayDas ji and all the members without whom this group is incomplete.

We are missing our Orchid expert Dr.Sahani these days.

Now a days large number of messages are formal messages like thanks, nice shot, ya, it is same species etc. etc. As requested by you time to time such messages must be avoided in the group.

We are missing Garg ji i.e. you these days. You are undertaking huge task of resurfacing the mails but we are not getting advanatge of your expertise in identification.

Instead of dominance of few, we must focus on increasing the participatation of all in this group.

I remember when I joined this group, the people would pounce on you for any disagreement. Fortunately that has gone, people encourage each other, suggest contradictions in healthy way. Having experience of other groups also, I know our group is the most cultured, most active, where people find pleasure in interacting.
