hi everyone,

                 pics of flowers of Ipomea carnea. is this a weed? can anyone please tell me the scientific name of the beetle in the 2nd pic? (at the 1st place is the common name correct?) :)

This is rampant weed, see in damp places near water bodies. In fact,
it is so rampant that in Hindi and Marathi it is called बेशरम Besharam
and बेहया Behaya, meaning shameless! :)
No idea about the beetle.
