Terrestrial herb about 1 feet.

Habenaria brachyphylla (Lindl.) Aitch., J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 19: 188 (1882).

Synonyms:
Platanthera brachyphylla Lindl., Gen. Sp. Orchid. Pl.: 293 (1835).
Habenaria crassifolia A.Rich., Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot., II, 15: 72 (1841).
