Looks like a Strobilanthes species, but will be next to impossible to
identify without leaves. Strobilanthes is a notoriously difficult
genus.

Thank you, Tabish. I looked at the photos closely again but alas cannot tell which leaves belong to it! I have left the ID at its genus level and hope to find the sp. some day.
