Thanks for sharing Saroj ji.

I am not able to see the presence of long (5-8 mm) cilia on the ochrea here, a characteristic feature of P. longiseta.

Pl check with other spicate species having truncate ochrea.

Persicaria muricata (Meisn.) Nemoto ? Does elevation match ?

By the way do we have an updated journal on persicaria ?

Tried many species, but was unable to find a match.

Looks different from Persicaria muricata as per Wikimedia Commons and POWO.

Without detailed floral images (preferably macro), it is difficult for me to confirm at the species level.
