Photographed form a Forest Rest house Rukhar near Rukhar WL Sanctuary in Pench Tiger Reserve Seoni. In Central India it is mainly planted for ornamental purpose.

I have seen this same Bamboo in a garden in Dombivli.  I tried to grow it from the sucker but failed.

No this is not called golden bamboo. The most common one is Phyllostachys aurea.
Aurea stands for golden.

Both Madhuri ji and Pankaj ji are right

The name Golden bamboo conventionally goes with Phyllostachys aurea, but according to "Multilingual dictionary of Economic Plants" by S. Rehm, it also applies to B. vulgaris (other common name: common bamboo). Other common name for Phyllostachys aurea is fish-pole bamboo.

... if not mistaken, only for information as well as validation -- Nayan ji's posted bamboo is a cultivar of Bambusa vulgaris.
The "stem" shows variegation for ornamental value.

Yes it may be a cultive, It is not found naturally is central India.
