Lotus corniculatus L. from Kashmir, common on mountain slopes in meadows and pasturelands. Photographed from slopes around Botanical Garden near Cheshmashahi on June 26, 2010.

Common Names:
English: Bird's-foot trefoil, Common Bird's-foot trefoil
French: Cornette, Cube, Lotier corniculé
German: Hornklee 
Spanish: Cuernecillo, Cuernecillo del campo

Good soil binder, used for pasture, good source of carotene, important been plant, flowers and leaves yield a colouring matter.
