I learn from POWO that accepted name is rather Capsicum chinense

Garg Ji
The plant I am referring to is Cultivar ‘Chinese Five Colour’ and not Capsicum chinense.
Please see below

Here are the differences

Luckily I have all three in garden of my son here in California
1. Chinese Five Colour Pepper: Capsicum annuum ‘Chinese Five Colour’
2. Ghost Pepper, Bhut Jalokia: Capsicum chinense ‘Bhut Jolokia’
3. Habanero: Capsicum chinense with number of Cultivars.
Interesting to note that whereas in Bhut Jolokia mature fruits are fiery red, in Habanero different cultivars have mature fruits in variety of colours: Orange, Red, Yellow, Chocolate, White, Purple, Black
In ‘Chinese Five Colour cultivar in same plant fruit turns from Purple to Cream to Yellow to Orange to red as it ripens, so that you can see more than one colours on the same plant.

I will share more details if these peppers mature before August 31, when we leave for India.
