Aerides maculosum (Thipke Irid Amri)
My Sunday 22 Jun trip to Panchgani was very much fruitful and flowerful too !!
This Epiphytic orchid was spotted on many roadside trees on Panchgani Mahabaleshwar route

Sorry, it was actually identified as Aerides maculosa only by Dr. Pankaj & by mistake I made wrong remarks as
Aerides multiflora earlier.

Macular spots are seen in the pictures .........has to be Aerides maculosa

Presence of MACULA is not the basis of identification as they are
present in all the four species.
