Please  ID the fungus (mushroom ?)  grown at the base of  a  coconut tree.  Enclosed herewith are thep photos for ID.

Could be Ganoderma tsugae Murrill

Yes a Ganoderma sp.
The fruiting body is still immature so i am not sure about species however there are reports from South India (Karnataka) reporting G.lucidum causing basal stem rot disease in Coconut plantations.

Yes could be one among G. tsugae or G. lucidum as in young form both looks similar.
