Prashant ji and Khaleel ji,
I was prompted by your wonderful posts of the veiled mushrooms to send these pics I had taken exactly two years back 22 July '07 in the forests of the southern end of the national park in Mumbai. This was on the way to the Salim Ali point trail that ends on top of a wonderful view of lake and deciduous and semi evergreen forest trees. I was introduced to this mushroom as veiled mushroom, this adds one more common name to it!

Appears close to images at Phallus indusiatus Vent.
