For identification, learning, discussion & documentation of Indian Flora, please visit/ join our Efloraofindia Google e-group (largest in the world- around 2700 members & 2,40,000 messages on 31.3.16) or Efloraofindia website (with a species database of more than 11,000 species & 2,20,000 images).
The whole world uses my Image Resource of more than a thousand species & eight thousand images of Birds, Butterflies, Plants etc. (arranged alphabetically & place-wise). You can also use them for free as per Creative Commons license attached with each image.
Also author of 'A Photoguide to the Birds of Kolkata & Common Birds of India'.
Looks like could be a Schefflera. There are 3 listed for Nepal in the Enumeration: S.elata, S.impressa, S. venulosa.S.impressa is now S.rhododendrifolia but from what I can tell, it does not seem to match this.So this leaves S.elata and S.venulosa. The latter is recorded from 300-1800m. The former from 1800-2100m.The pressed specimen images I have seen suggest this could be S.venulosa but nor sure.Others are likely to be more familiar with this genus than I am.Or any other suggestions.The only Schefflera listed in 'Flora of Kathmandu Valley' is S.impressa from Phulchoki @ 2000m.
