        Attached images are unknown grass sp. from Assam. Please ID the species.

Location: Assam
Family : Poaceae
Genus & species : ??
Habitat: Grows wild on.road side
Habit :  Herb

Phalaris minor. The inflorescence characters are not visible due to pollen.

This doesn't look like Phalaris minor. It must be Pearl Millet (Bajra).

Could be. Need to know the size of the plant and inflorescence to confirm. Phalaris minor inflorescence would be only a few cm long, whereas pearl millet would be much longer and stouter.
